Frankinsense Bamboo Incense

Herb & Earth bamboo incense sticks from Nippon Kodo, a Japanese fragrance house with roots in 17th-century Kyoto. The sticks are made with a thin bamboo core coated in a pressed incense blend, a format that burns cooler and more evenly than a coreless stick. The Frankincense scent draws from the dried resin of Boswellia trees, producing a dry, resinous smoke with minimal sweetness.

Nippon Kodo occupies a specific position in the incense world — mass enough to be consistent, refined enough to avoid the synthetic heaviness common to drugstore alternatives.
