Zion Nesting Coffee Tables

Zion Nesting Coffee Tables

The Zion nesting coffee tables from Four Hands are a pair of low, free-form tables built around the weight and veining of natural stone. Most finishes are solid marble, one is onyx, and two are solid oak with an oak veneer. Each table sits on turned pillar-style legs, and the larger one is sized so the smaller slides in beneath it. Because the stone is cut from natural slabs, the veining and tone differ from one table to the next, and the pieces are heavy enough to stay put once placed.

The silhouette pairs a rounded, organic top with the more architectural turned leg, which gives the tables a sculptural look from any angle. Merlot, cream, antique white, rocky brown and pale grey stone each show their own movement in the surface, while the oak versions read warmer and quieter. They sit comfortably with bouclé sofas, leather lounge chairs, brass lamps and richly patterned rugs, and they hold their own in a room that already has plenty going on.

Use them together as a central pair, or pull them apart as the room needs. One table can serve as a side table beside a sofa while the other anchors the seating group, or both can sit nested when floor space is tight. They can be bought individually or as a two-piece set, so you can start with one and add the other later.
