Found Honestly.
Edited Relentlessly.
We don't buy objects just to fill shelves. We look for pieces that possess a soul; objects that have survived trends and remained essential.
Our collection is the result of 20 years of following our gut. Each piece is hand-inspected by Matt and the team in Cincinnati to ensure it meets our standard of permanent beauty.
FAQ
If you have a question that isn't here, just ask. That's what we're here for.
Glass ornaments and baubles, ornaments shaped like everyday objects, feather trees and beaded trees, and tabletop pieces like a gold candelabra and glass cloches. Online that means Cody Foster, HomArt, Winward Silks and Zodax.
Yes, plenty. Cody Foster makes ornaments shaped like a canned ham, a roll of cash, a tin of caviar, a Dutch oven and a Rack o' Ribs, among others. Some are cheekier than that, so ask on the floor.
Mix at least two sizes. Put the largest, like a 150-millimeter glass ball, deep in the branches and the smaller ones near the tips, then hang the novelty ornaments at eye level.
An ornament, because it comes out every year. Most of Cody Foster's ornaments and HomArt's small feather trees come in well under $50, and every purchase leaves in High St. branded tissue and a premium bag with cord handles and a gold-foil logo.
High St., a 17,000-square-foot lifestyle store at 1401 Reading Rd in Over-the-Rhine, carries holiday ornaments, feather trees and tabletop decor. We're open every day but Tuesday, 10am to 6pm, with Sunday hours of 11am to 4pm. In-stock online orders are usually ready for pickup in about two hours, and shipping is free over $150.
