The Anders Dining Chair from Four Hands is a slim, armless side chair built on a solid ash frame with mortise and tenon joinery. The back is woven from double-twisted paper cord, which has a natural give and flexes a little as you settle in. The seat is a fixed upholstered cushion over webbing, covered in a performance blend of flax, cotton, and polyester made to handle spills and daily wear.
The design borrows from midcentury Danish cord chairs, with the same open, airy back and light frame. The toasted ash and pale cord read warm and quiet, and the woven texture adds interest without adding bulk. It sits comfortably beside oak and walnut tables, painted cabinets, stone, and rooms that already have a lot going on.
Use it around the dining table in a set, or pull a single chair up to a desk, a vanity, or a corner of the entry. The armless profile tucks in close to a table, and the frame is light enough to move between rooms when guests arrive.
