A low, round coffee table from Four Hands that keeps its storage out of sight. Sungkai wood makes up the frame and top, a mix of thin veneer and solid wood joined with mortise and tenon, bore and dowel, and frame-and-panel construction. Linen-wrapped panels fill the sides, and a hidden door on each side opens to an interior shelf.
The design is built on contrast: the grain and warmth of sungkai against the soft, matte weave of painted linen. The silhouette is drum-like and sits close to the floor on a recessed base, so it reads as one solid shape instead of a tabletop on legs. It pairs well with bouclé and leather seating, wool rugs, and rooms that already have plenty of pattern and need one quiet, tailored surface.
Set it at the center of a seating group and use the top for books, a tray, and a candle. Behind the doors, remotes, throw blankets, coasters, and board games stay within reach but out of the room's line of sight. The round form works well in a space where people walk around the table, since there are no corners to catch a hip or a shin.
