Bia Console Table

The Bia console from Four Hands is a long, low-slung table in rustic brown oak veneer, built around a heavy top that overhangs open legs. The veneer is edge-banded so the grain wraps cleanly around the slab, and the surface keeps the knots, color shifts and texture that make rustic oak read as warm instead of polished. Leg levelers sit under the base, and an anti-tip kit is included for anchoring it to the wall.

There are no doors, drawers or hardware, which leaves the form plain and a little monumental. It sits comfortably in the rustic-modern tradition, where quiet geometry lets the wood do the talking. Ceramics, a pair of table lamps, a stack of art books or a leaning mirror all look at home against the dark, smoky grain.

Use it behind a sofa to define a living room, along a long entry wall, or in a dining room as a serving surface. It is generous enough to hold lamps, a tray of bottles and a row of objects without crowding, and the open base leaves floor visible underneath so the room stays airy. Wipe it clean and keep it away from standing water and strong direct sun.
