BINGHAM COFFEE TABLE

Bingham Coffee Table

The Bingham from Four Hands is a round, drum-style coffee table that sits low and heavy inside a sculptural cradle base. The base is thick oak veneer with a rustic, weathered face, built with mortise and tenon and edge-banded joinery. Depending on the finish, the drum itself is distressed iron, antiqued brass aluminum over smoked oak, or oak to match the base. Leg levelers under the base keep it steady on uneven floors.

The design leans organic. A soft round top meets the straight, linear lines of the cradle, and the oak shows its highs and lows in grain and texture, so no two tops read quite alike. It sits comfortably with curved sofas, boucle and linen, worn leather, and plaster or limewashed walls, and the iron finish carries the dark, mineral look of acid-washed metal.

Set it at the center of a seating group where it can be walked around from every side. It takes a stack of art books, a tray of glasses, and a bowl of fruit without crowding, and the round form keeps traffic moving in a tighter living room. Wipe it with a dry cloth and keep it indoors.
