Copenhagen Pot + Saucer

The Copenhagen Pot is a high-fired terracotta planter from Bergs Potter, a Danish ceramics manufacturer with a history dating to 1942. Each pot ships with a matching saucer and is available in a range of sizes, from a compact 10cm diameter to a generous 35cm. The glazed colorway variants are finished in a vitrified glaze that creates a sealed surface; the Earth variants retain the natural porous character of unglazed terracotta.

The Copenhagen is one of Bergs Potter's most enduring forms — a clean, slightly tapered cylinder with a restrained rim profile that reads as both traditional and contemporary. The proportions have a quiet northern European sensibility that works with midcentury houseplant arrangements, spare modernist interiors, or massed together on a windowsill or outdoor step. The form is recognizable enough to collect across sizes and colors without becoming fussy.

Indoors, the smaller sizes suit herbs on a kitchen shelf or a single trailing pothos; the larger 25–35cm pots hold tree ferns, fiddle-leaf figs, or anything that needs real root room. The terracotta body breathes well for moisture-sensitive plants, and the saucer keeps surfaces clean.
