Falco Nesting TableS

Falco Nesting Tables

A pair of nesting coffee tables from Four Hands, built on sculpted bases of solid reclaimed French oak. The forms are curved and organic, sized so one slides beneath the other and the set reads as a single low sculpture, or splits apart to work across a room. Frame and panel construction gives the bases their structure, and adjustable leg levelers keep the tops steady on uneven floors. Reclaimed oak carries its own grain, knots, and tonal shifts, so no two sets look quite alike.

The Falco set takes its cue from Brazilian midcentury furniture, where heavy woods and rounded, sculptural shapes set the tone. It was designed with longtime Four Hands collaborator Thomas Bina and Brazilian designer Ronald Sasson. The finish stays quiet and tactile, which lets the silhouette do the talking next to bouclé, leather, linen, or a patterned rug.

Pull the pair together in front of a sofa as a layered coffee table, or separate them and set one beside an armchair as a spot for a lamp and a drink. Nested, they take up little floor and clear a path when a room fills with guests. The low profile suits living rooms, sitting rooms, and open lofts where a single large table would crowd the space.
