The Farrow Console Table from Four Hands is a long, pill-shaped console with softly rounded ends and a thick oak veneer top. Below the top, an open shelf runs the length of the frame between two broad panel legs, with three shallow drawers set in above. The drawers are joined with English dovetails and run on black side-mount metal glides, and the legs end in levelers so the table sits true on an uneven floor.
Bullnose edges and relief detailing give the simple oval silhouette some quiet texture. The rounded form sits comfortably in mid-century and Scandinavian-leaning rooms as well as more collected, layered ones. It comes in two finishes: a light drifted oak that lets the grain show, and a smoked black that reads closer to ink. Either one works with ceramics, a stack of books, or a lamp with a wide base.
Set it behind a sofa, along a long living room wall, or beneath a television as a media console. The open shelf holds baskets, records, or a row of paperbacks, and the drawers keep remotes, cords, matches, and other small objects out of sight.
