The Goetz Bistro Table is Four Hands' round pedestal table, a fresh take on the traditional tulip shape. A tapered solid wood base in a brown finish rises to a circular top that spreads well past it, so chairs tuck in close with nothing in the way of knees. The top comes in brown oak veneer or in solid marble, either honed white or warm grey, and the marble versions carry noticeably more weight and a cool, smooth surface. The veneer is edge-banded, the frame is joined with mortise and tenon, and leg levelers on the base help it sit steady on uneven floors.
The tulip pedestal has a long lineage, from mid-century dining rooms to cafe floors, and this version keeps the single-stem silhouette while warming it up with oak. The brown base reads as a darker anchor under the paler marble, and the all-oak version is quieter and more uniform. Natural variation in wood grain and marble veining is part of each table, so no two tops look exactly alike.
It is scaled for tight spots: a breakfast nook, a kitchen corner, a small dining room, or a window in a living room where two people want coffee and a table. Pair it with a couple of slim chairs or stools, and keep a low bowl or a few cut stems in the middle. In an entry, it can also stand in as a landing spot for mail and a lamp.
