The Kadon Chair from Four Hands is a high wing-back armchair with a curved, enveloping profile. A solid parawood frame, joined with corner blocks and nails, carries an S-spring seat over polyurethane foam wrapped in polyester fiber. The upholstery is a looped, shearling-like polyester that reads soft from across the room and stays supportive once you settle in.
The silhouette borrows from classic wing chairs but rounds off the edges, with softly rolled arms and a back that curves around the sitter. Short legs keep the base low and a little lighter than the upholstery suggests. The texture is the main event, so it pairs well with smooth leather, lacquered wood, aged brass, and rugs with some pile of their own.
Set it in a living room as the second chair opposite a sofa, or give it a corner of its own with a lamp and a stack of books. It also fits at the foot of a bed or in an entry that needs somewhere to sit. The fixed seat and back mean no cushions to rearrange, so the chair looks the same on a Tuesday morning as it does on Saturday night.
