The Kafta Coffee Table from Four Hands is a long, low oval in warm natural oak. The top is oak veneer with a softened bullnose edge that gives it the look of a shallow tray, and it rests on a solid oak base set in from the rim. Corner-block joinery holds the frame together, and leg levelers let it settle evenly on floors that aren't.
The water-based finish keeps the oak pale and honey-toned, so the grain stays visible and reads as wood rather than stain. With no sharp corners and a plain, rounded silhouette, it sits comfortably in modern, Scandinavian-leaning, and softly midcentury rooms. It pairs well with bouclé, linen, and worn leather, and it holds its own against plaster walls, stone, and dark metal.
Set it in front of a sofa, where the oval shape leaves room to walk around it. The raised rim helps keep a stack of books, a bowl of fruit, or a few candles in place, and the low height keeps sight lines open across the room. Expect natural variation in grain and tone from one table to the next.
