Kovo Nesting End Tables

Kovo is a set of round nesting end tables from Four Hands, built from solid marble and thick oak veneer with edge-banded joinery. The forms are soft and contoured, and the two tables sit at different heights so they slide together into one compact shape. Leg levelers on the feet keep them steady on uneven floors.

The design leans modern and organic, with a pale rubbed-oak finish set against marble in either a taupe or a warm grey tone. The pairing is quiet and tactile, and it sits easily next to bouclé, linen, walnut, or brass. Marble is a natural stone, so the veining and tone will differ a little from slab to slab.

Keep the pair nested beside a sofa to hold a lamp and a stack of books. Pull the smaller table out to a reading chair when you need a place for a coffee cup, or split the two across a room to give a corner a low landing spot. In an entry or bedroom, the same set works as a bedside pairing or a place for keys and a bowl.

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth, and wipe up spills right away with a slightly damp cloth, then dry the surface fully. Use coasters and trivets under hot or wet items, and keep the piece out of direct sunlight and away from heat vents to prevent fading, warping, or cracking. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners and soaking the surface, especially on veneer, where moisture can lift the edges. Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills right away. Use coasters and placemats under hot or wet items. Avoid harsh cleaners and silicone polishes, and keep away from direct heat and prolonged sun. Dust with a soft, dry cloth and wipe spills right away; standing moisture can lift veneer. Use coasters under hot or wet items and avoid harsh cleaners. Natural stone is porous: wipe spills right away, especially wine, citrus, coffee and oil, and use coasters. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner, never vinegar, lemon or abrasives. Reseal periodically.
