The Lazzie Chair from Four Hands is a voluminous club chair with a sculpted, curved silhouette that sits low and broad. Soft, textured upholstery wraps a body padded with polyurethane foam and polyester fiber batting, set over an S-spring seat and a solid oak frame. Top grain leather welting traces the seams, and short oak feet lift the form just clear of the floor.
The shape comes from midcentury French design, where furniture was rounded, generous and meant to be seen from every side. The welting and the weathered oak feet add a second and third texture against the woven cloth, so the chair reads as sculpture even in a quiet room. It sits well beside travertine or plaster side tables, brass lamps, and a rug with some pile.
Put it in a living room corner, angle a pair toward a sofa, or give a bedroom a reading chair with presence. The seat is deep and the arms are low, which suits long afternoons with a book or a conversation that runs late. The leather and oak vary naturally from chair to chair, and the leather will soften and darken with use.
