The Lennie End Table from Four Hands sets a thick square of cast glass on a slim, angular iron base. The base is burnished to a dark charcoal, and the glass top has a rounded edge and the depth of a poured slab, so it catches light instead of simply holding a drink. It comes in two glass colors, warm amber and deep moss, and the cast surface carries small variations in tone and texture from piece to piece.
The silhouette is open and linear, a modern take on the glass-and-metal side table that reads as sculptural without crowding a room. Amber leans toward honey and brandy tones and pairs well with leather, walnut and rust-colored velvet. Moss is cooler and darker, closer to bottle glass, and sits easily beside deep greens, brass and plaster walls.
This is a compact side table, built to sit beside a sofa or lounge chair, at the end of a bench, or next to a bed. It holds a cocktail, a stack of books or a small lamp. Use one as an accent, a matched pair on either side of a sofa, or a staggered group in a corner.
