The Lonnie is a barrel-back swivel chair from Four Hands, tailored in upholstery and set on a low solid wood plinth base. The back curves around the sitter, the arms slope down and away, and piped seams trace the outline without fussing it. A fixed seat cushion rides on S-spring suspension, and a concealed mechanism lets the seat turn a full rotation. Depending on the option, the cover is a woven flax-blend or a wool-blend, over a base of solid oak or solid ash.
The silhouette sits between mid-century lounge chairs and the softer, rounded seating that has come back into living rooms. Piping and a plain wood plinth keep it tailored, and the muted upholstery colors sit comfortably beside bouclé, leather, or a patterned rug. It is a substantial chair, with a deep seat and a presence that holds its own next to a sofa.
Put it where you want to face more than one direction: a living room corner between the window and the fireplace, a reading spot beside a bookcase, or a pair angled toward each other as a conversation corner. The swivel lets you turn from the room to the view and back without dragging the chair across the floor. In a bedroom or study, it works as a place to sit with a book that doesn't need a side table pushed up against it.
