A demilune accent bench from Four Hands, built on a solid oak frame with mortise and tenon joinery and a single upholstered seat cushion resting on a wooden platform. The cushion is filled with a foam pad wrapped in polyester batting and a little feather, so it sits soft without losing its shape. The bench is long enough to seat two, and the bowed front gives it a presence that most straight-edged benches lack.
The Moya suite takes a traditional bench and loosens it up. Slim turned legs lift the seat well off the floor, and the oak is left light enough to show its grain, while the curved outline reads as slightly antique. It sits comfortably with rattan, plaster-toned walls, brass lamps and mixed vintage wood. The upholstery and oak finish vary by option, so check the variant you choose.
Set it at the foot of a bed, along an entry wall, or under a window in a living room where a sofa feels like too much. It can also work as extra seating at a dining table or a place to sit and pull on shoes by the door. Spot clean upholstery with water-based cleaners as needed.
