The Quincy Bed from Four Hands is a fully upholstered bed frame with a deeply padded, softly rounded headboard and a solid parawood structure under the fabric. The cover has a bouclé-like texture that looks plush and dimensional, and the performance weaves are made to stand up to spills, stains and everyday wear. The upholstery is handmade, so small variations from bed to bed are part of how it's built.
The shaping is clean and low-fuss, with an inflated, pillowy profile that borrows from the chunky bouclé seating of recent years and applies it to the biggest piece in the bedroom. It comes in a charcoal, a cream, an ochre and a bright off-white, so it can sit quietly against pale walls or anchor a room built on saturated color and pattern. Layer it with linen bedding, a few velvet pillows and a wool throw, and the texture of the headboard does the rest.
Set it in a bedroom where the headboard can be the focal wall, with nightstands on either side and a rug that extends past the frame. The slatted base holds a mattress without extra hardware, and the tall, padded headboard makes it comfortable for reading or breakfast in bed. Choose the cream or off-white for a lighter room, and the charcoal or ochre when you want the bed to carry some weight.
