A slim oak console from Four Hands with a smooth top, two drawers fronted in woven paper cord, and an open shelf below. The frame mixes solid oak and oak veneer on narrow square legs that lift the whole piece off the floor. Drawers are dovetailed and run on soft-close metal glides, so they open and shut with a quiet, even pull.
The design leans Scandinavian, built on contrast between the flat, clean oak surfaces and the tactile cord weave across the drawer fronts. In the black finish the grain stays visible under the color and the piece reads graphic and dark. In the natural finish it turns light and warm, closer to a blond wood sideboard. Either one sits easily beside rattan, linen, ceramics and framed prints.
The shallow profile suits a hallway, an entry wall or the back of a sofa where a deeper cabinet would crowd the walkway. Keys, remotes, candles and mail can go in the drawers, with baskets, books or a stack of ceramics on the open shelf. A lamp and a small tray on top finish the arrangement.
