A long, slim console from Four Hands, built in solid and veneered oak with a smooth top and three drawers fronted in woven paper cord. A single open shelf runs the full width below the drawers, and the frame stands on slender square legs that leave a clear gap above the floor. The drawers are English dovetailed, ride on undermount metal glides and close softly. It comes in a black-finished oak or a light natural oak.
The look is Scandinavian-inspired, with straight lines, a shallow depth and a quiet woven texture on the drawer fronts. The black version reads dark and graphic, while the natural version is lighter and warmer. Either one sits comfortably beside mid-century seating, rattan, linen and ceramics, and the cord adds a handmade note to an otherwise clean silhouette.
Use it behind a sofa, along a hallway, under a window or as a low media console in a living room. The drawers hold remotes, cords, matches and table linens, and the open shelf takes baskets, books or a row of vases. Its narrow depth suits rooms where a deeper sideboard would crowd the walkway.
