The Talessi End Table from Four Hands is a square side table built from solid oak and oak burl veneer, finished in a warm wheat tone. Frame-and-panel construction with edge-banded veneer gives the top a clean, continuous face, and the corners and edges are rounded so the form reads soft rather than severe. Burl grain moves in swirls and knots, so no two tables show the same figure.
Talessi is a suite that also includes a square coffee table, and this end table works as a smaller companion to it or on its own. Burl wood has a long history in mid-century and 1970s interiors, and the pale wheat finish keeps that reference light instead of heavy. It sits easily next to bouclé, linen, brass lamps, black ceramics and other pieces with a bit of texture.
Set it beside a sofa or lounge chair to hold a lamp, a drink and a stack of books, or use it as a bedside table in a room that wants a quieter wood tone. The top is wide enough for a lamp and a small tray together. Leveling feet on the base help it sit steady on older floors.
