The Willow Swivel Chair from Four Hands is a midcentury-minded lounge chair built from an open metal frame and a deep, fully upholstered seat. Top-grain leather in a dark, reddish brown covers the seat and back, padded with polyurethane foam and polyester fiber over a wooden platform. Curved aluminum arms sweep forward from the body, and a floating metal base turns the chair through a full circle, with rubber pads underneath to protect the floor.
The shape borrows from classic lounge chairs of the 1950s and 60s, where thin metal lines frame a generous cushion. Here the proportions are dramatic but the frame stays airy, so the chair has presence without reading as heavy. The warm leather and cool gunmetal-toned metal make a good pair beside walnut, travertine, plaster walls or a vintage wool rug.
Set it in a living room corner where you can turn from the window to the conversation, or float it in a room as a reading chair with a lamp and a small side table. It suits an entry sitting area or a bedroom just as well. The leather will pick up a patina with use, and each hide carries its own natural variation in grain and tone.
