The Wrenley Bistro Table from Four Hands is a pedestal table with a solid white marble top and a dark iron base, built heavy enough to stay put. The top is a rounded square with a slim profile, and it overhangs the base generously so chairs tuck in without knocking into anything. Underneath, an interlocking iron base tapers and then flares into legs with small cut-outs that lift them off the floor and keep the dark metal from looking weighty. Marble is a natural stone, so veining and tone will differ from one table to the next.
The design takes its cue from the traditional French bistro table and updates it with a squared-off top and a sculpted, cut-out base. The contrast is simple. Pale, softly veined stone sits over a charcoal-washed iron foot, a pairing that reads as café-classic but cleaner. It sits comfortably beside bentwood chairs, caned seating, or upholstered dining chairs, and it holds its own against warm wood floors or a painted wall in a deep color.
Use it as a small dining table in a breakfast nook or an eat-in kitchen, or as a gathering spot in a living room corner where a larger table would crowd the space. The pedestal base leaves room to pull chairs in from any side. Leg levelers on the feet help it sit steady on uneven floors.
