The Wyatt Bench from Four Hands is a long, low seat topped with woven top-grain leather in a deep coffee brown. The leather is worked into a textured weave over webbing, so the surface has a little give and a visible grain that reads as more than a flat cushion. Solid oak legs finished in matte black carry the seat on a frame joined with mortise and tenon, and leg levelers keep it steady on uneven floors.
The design borrows from the strapped, woven benches of Shaker-style furniture and swaps tape or cane for leather. Slim, straight legs keep the silhouette open, so the dark seat and dark frame read as a clean horizontal line. It sits comfortably beside mid-century case pieces, plaster walls, or a room already full of pattern, where the brown leather adds warmth against the black.
Use it at the foot of a bed, along an entry wall for pulling on shoes, or under a window with a stack of books and a lamp nearby. The seat holds two people and works as a staging spot for bags and folded throws. A vacuum or light brush is all the leather needs, and it will soften and darken with regular use.
